چکیده
Coccidiosis is an infectious parasitic disease of poultry which causes heavy economic losses to commercial industry. has been generally controlled by using different synthetic anticoccidial drugs but, due development resistance these this method losing its effectiveness. Exploration novel and alternative compounds against avian coccidiosis need time now a days. In regard, medicinal plants can serve as substitute anticoccidials. Thus, find out agents, current research was designed evaluate the potential Ageratum conyzoides extract (ACE). For in vivo experiment, 105 broiler chicks were purchased further divided into 7 sub-groups (15 birds each group). At 7th day Groups A, B C fed with plant at 100, 200 300 mg/kg respectively. Group D supplemented Vitamin-E while, E F remained infected medicated un-medicated control groups served standard medicine (Baycox®) Phosphate Buffer Saline (PBS) Moreover, G normal group. 14th all except rom orally 60,000 sporulated oocysts mixed Eimeria species. Anticoccidial ACE evaluated on basis lesion scores, fecal oocyst scores feed conversion ratio. Furthermore, effect serum chemistry also check toxicity if any. The results compared (Baycox®). On results, showed activity reducing fecal, (P<0.05). improved FCR chicks. exhibited positive effects chickens

Anticoccidial efficacy of drinking water soluble diclazuril in the control of Eimeria acervulina oocysts on experimentally-infected broiler chickens
The experiment was carried out with 150 Cobb broiler chickens divided into 3 groups with 50 birds each. The groups of infected chickens orally received 1ml of inoculum containing 3x10 3 Eimeria acervulina sporulated oocysts at 12 days of age. Group 1 was kept as a positive control with infected non-medicated birds, group 2 was medicated with diclazuril (1%) with a dose of 1mL/4 L of drinking wa...

15 صفحه اولThe effect of salinomycin on Salmonella, Campylobacter and the intestinal microflora in experimentally infected broiler chickens
The effect of the ionophore coccidiostat salinomycin on infections with Salmonella or Campylobacter was investigated in two experimental infections studies. In addition, the effect on the natural populations of Clostridium perfringens and lactobacilli in the intestine was examined. In both infection studies, chickens were divided into six groups and kept in separate isolators from day-old. Two ...
متن کاملAntioxidant and anticoccidial effects of garlic powder and sulfur amino acids on Eimeria-infected and uninfected broiler chickens
To study the anticoccidial and antioxidant effects of garlic powder (GP) and total sulfur amino acid (TSAA) on growth performance, faecal oocyst output, oxidative stress indicators and antioxidant status markers in broiler chickens, a 2 × 2 × 2 splitplot-factorial arrangement of treatments was used. A total of 480-day-old male broiler chickens were equally assigned to two plots. Two hundred for...
